Integrated Livelihood Promotion

Under the aegis of the Jharkhand Tribal Employment and Livelihood Project (JTELP), supported by the Government of Jharkhand, a multitude of impactful interventions have been executed across 200 villages in the Saraikela- Kharsawan, West Singhbhum, and Dumka districts of Jharkhand.

Livestock skill Enrichment and livelihood support

Mrs. Jano Banra, a resident of Ulirajabsa village, Khuntpani block, West Singhbhum, hails from a financially challenged Scheduled Tribe family relying on agriculture.

Child Right, Child Labour & Women Trafficking Protection

Childline India Foundation's 1098 Helpline carried out outreach activities in Churchu, Dari, Keredari, and Barkagaon, Hazaribag in 2760 households, managed 76 Case IDs, conducted 02 child rescue inquiries, and organized campaigns like Childline se Dosti, Balshram Awareness.

Farmers Producer Organization (FPO) Nurturing

NABARD-supported Producer's Company thrives in Hazaribagh, enabling direct marketing of farmers' products. With 1517 shareholders and a turnover exceeding 12 lakhs, it specializes in aggregating produce like Tamarind, Mahua, and vegetables for direct market sales. This innovative approach significantly boosts farmers' income, achieving a remarkable 1.5-fold increase.

Education, Health, Hygiene & Sanitation

JSPH ensures continuous communication and monitoring of Anganwadi Centres (AWCs) and Sanitation Monitoring Committees. Ongoing counseling promotes toilet usage, handwashing, and cleanliness, benefiting about 1000 families. Awareness initiatives target school children, PRI representatives, health workers, Jal Sahiyas, and women's groups.

Women Empowerment and Right entitlement

The organization has empowered 17,268 women through livelihood projects, micro-enterprises, and natural resource management interventions, enabling them to attain self-employment.

Science & Technology, Research and Studies

In our operational areas, we have actively promoted eco-system and natural resources management through initiatives such as Stratified Rice/Wheat Intensification (SRI/SWI), water conservation tanks, pisciculture, and the adoption of energy-efficient devices like improved Chulha, briquettes, and solar power conservation.

Tanya Computer Centre

In collaboration with Sightsavers India, the Tanya Computer Centre, a joint initiative by JSPH, empowers visually impaired individuals. Offering comprehensive computer training and personality development, it equips Blind and Low Vision Persons with Disabilities with essential life skills and confidence.
