About Us

JAN SEWA PARISHAD HAZARIBAG (JSPH)

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Jan Sewa Parishad (JSPH) envisions strong and well-established communities that uphold equitable values. This vision is realized through dedicated hard work and commitment from our staff, workers, shareholders, agencies, institutions, and other wellwishers, whether directly or indirectly involved in our developmental efforts. In our operational areas of Jharkhand and Bihar, JSPH has reached out to more than 60,000 individuals. We take pride in the commendable achievements across various sectors, a testament to the tireless efforts of our team and the guidance provided by various stakeholders. Key areas of focus during the implementation year include COVID-19 relief, land and water management, livelihood promotion, women and child development, as well as environmental and ecological conservation.

Notably, our COVID relief efforts targeted migrant laborers, homeless urban dwellers, and villagers, addressing the critical shortages of resources, including food, medicine, and logistics. These actions were only made possible by the unwavering dedication of our employees, who applied innovative ideas with utmost passion and determination to bring about positive change and relief services.

Thanks to our organizational intervention, the annual earnings of our target households have doubled from Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 36,000 through agriculture and allied activities. Women have also developed leadership qualities while experiencing economic empowerment through microenterprises. Agricultural production has surged by 28%, largely due to soil and water conservation practices and the application of science and technology. Children and women now find themselves in safer conditions thanks to the support of ChildLine, health and hygiene monitoring, and sanitation campaigns. These impressive outcomes were achieved despite numerous challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, a testament to the remarkable dedication of our staff. We wish to extend our heartfelt appreciation to our staff, governing team, and the members of all Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), including women's Self-Help Groups, Jungle Suraksha Samiti, Kisan Club, the Federation of Disabled People, Aadim Jan Jati Adhikar Morcha, and Village Development Groups (both men and women). We want to express our gratitude to everyone who supported us. As board members, we also wish to acknowledge the support from the Government of India and the Government of Jharkhand State, which have allowed us to participate in inclusive plans and implement various projects in both the center and the state.

Additionally, we extend our thanks to the bishops, policy-makers, Panchayati Raj Institution (PRI) members, network partners, and all stakeholders for their invaluable assistance and cooperation. Last but not least, we express our gratitude to government officials, civil and police administrations, community leaders, representatives, and political activists who have lent their support to our program implementations. With hope for a brighter future, we look forward to achieving more successes and implementing sustainable measures in the near future.
